Confirmed Republican that I am, I find this quite touching, which is probably because I'm weird.
I was half hoping the parks department would develop a sense of history and do it up for this weekend, but apparently not.
And the highlight of the Jubilee weekend so far is the Derby being won by an Irish trainer....
