there is a family tradition that began when my brother was a baby, of photographs in the bluebells. It's one I always intended to continue but we missed our first opportunity with Em, blame that on the fog of new parenthood, and seeing as 50% of the worlds bluebells are to be found in the UK, we struggled to find a suitable spot in the US. So today, and probably at intervals throughout the next 2 weeks, Em and I will make our pilgrimage to bluebell woods to make up for lost time! Today we returned to Sea Woods, by the Common. The season has marched on and the woods are full of life, a stark contrast to the last time we visited. Em sang a little tune to the bluebells and to May. It involved many 'hello's' and much waving of the umbrella (essential as you never can be quite sure of the weather).
