May Day!

Hubby and I met on a blind date in April, 1974. On May 1 of that year, he gave me my first May Day bouquet.
I had never heard of the tradition of giving flowers on the first day of May, but I have certainly enjoyed being the recipient over the next 40 years!
We are going out later today to pick up the bouquet together, but I was pleased to see these little beauties on our morning walk.
