High Cup - Blipmeet info

The sign is about 400 metres+ from the centre of Dufton. The walk up is quite steep, some is on a road with the rest on a rocky path. Near the top it levels out for about half a mile and this is where the best views can be found. Coming down is easier! We can largely retrace our steps, which gives good views towards the Lakes over the Eden Valley, or go rather off piste, but still on goodish paths, which will take us back to Dufton via the side of Dufton Pike.
It will take a 'few' hours so a packed lunch will be necessary. Hope this helps.
