Flower Friday: Daisy, Daisy

I had a wide range of flowers to choose from, including acacia, poppies, dandelions, orchids, and some very vulgar irises, but in the end I decided to go for daisies. Irises may feature in a future blip.

It's a bank holiday today, La Fête du Travail, which means paradoxically that the one thing you don't do is work. Unfortunately it is muggy and overcast. The most productive thing I did was get out my large collection of silver earrings and scrub the tarnish off with toothpaste before polishing them. So maybe I will actually wear them now. I like to buy earrings when I travel, then they remind me of places I've been when I wear them. Today my ears are visiting Girona.
