Day 1

of Le Tour de Yorkshire.

The three day event started in a very breezy Bridlington and wended its way into North Yorkshire through the Dalby Forest to Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby and finished the stage at Scarborough.

Wetwang, where I shall be tomorrow, is at the end of one of the sprints. The village is a mass of Yorkshire flags and all the school children have made huge collages to celebrate the event.
