Stephen Fry and Peter Stenhouse

That's right; this is our Stephen Fry with his sidekick Pete. They are a great double act, singing north eastern songs with a wonderful sense of humour.  They played at the Social Evening for our walking festival tonight at the Comrades Club in Haltwhistle. Stephen had composed a song 'specially for us and managed to include the names of most of the walks. I'm not sure what the visitors thought about the song about the outside netty..........or the tattooist!

It was a wonderful evening, although it ended with me dropping my handbag in the carpark behind the club and not realising until I had driven home again. Thankfully it was found with the aid of a torch and is in safe keeping for me.

This morning we had a get together of people who all attend the same photo classes. There was a slide show of the pictures from each of 4 projects done by eveyone this session, 6 per person per project. We had each taken along one mounted print from each of our projects and these were displayed around the hall. It was so interesting to see how people have differently interpreted the titles of the projects.

The extra photo is of my friend Maureen who has worked very hard this week to find places for people who wanted to walk; she has also walked many miles herself.

(There was much too much sitting todday for Aggie, but she'll no doubt get over it tomorrow.)
