Magnificent painting in Lille cathedral

The golden frame was really striking, but somehow it looked like it didn't belong there. The cathedral was breathtaking, some of it was restored beautifully, other areas were damp, crumbling and in disrepair. Overall the whole cathedral seemed like a work of art.
