Taxi driver

Late night Piccadilly Circus and the lights on the electronic billboards
make it almost as light as daylight. Cabbies are beginning to circle
for early fairs of the night. By 3 or 4am when the clubs turn out you
can't find a black cab for love or money, so a bit of insider knowledge 
is good to have.

Soho House would have a nearby minicab company run off the street
by a marshall in a long black coat. If you asked for the owner you would
get preferential service at an excellent price with a courteous and 
educated driver in a nice car.
