Cathederal Lane

Anyone can make a typo, but you'd think that if one was typing out something that would be plastered on a lot of conspicuous road signs one might just try using a spell checker.

I chose not to blip the main event of the day, which was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen for forty years. A wonderful singer, songwriter and musician. It wasn't just me that hadn't seen her - she'd vanished off everyone's radar completely. I instantly recognised her when I saw her in Waverley station; she's still the same lovely person I remember. I took her down to Leith to meet Mr H and we all blethered happily for several hours. We shall make serious efforts to prevent her losing touch with us for another forty years.
