Upside Down Down Under

I took a squelchy walk through Brisbane's Botanic Gardens this morning. There were new ponds and lakes formed after the deluge of rain; birds were enjoying the aftermath.

This Dusky Moorhen seems to be paddling in an upside-down world - but then, this is Australia.
