A Sail!
Always a big day in the Pensioner's calendar. The first sail of the season! And what a cracker it was. There was hardly a ripple when I got the sails on, but by the time I was all rigged up there was a fine nor'easterly, blowing in. So the wee tub spanked about Wardie Bay in fine fashion. Then back to the mooring to sit in the sun, enjoying the usual yachtie sustenance: olive and rosemary crackers with goats cheese. Parma ham. That sort of thing.
Still, all good things must come to an end, so it was time to call for Piotr ashore, I want to go home. Well, to the Diggers to tell the boys all about my derring-do, actually. And Alechemy Rhapsody on tap!
Happy weekend, all.
