Today the Year 5 children helped load the lorry that arrived to collect our bags of clothes for charity!

Each year we collect bags of old clothes, blankets and shoes. This year these are going, via a local charity, to help with charities in Ukraine and those affected by the war there.

Philip had strong views about the large charities and how much of the money they raised paid for salaries and offices in the UK. We much preferred supporting charities where the majority, if not all, of the money or goods collected went directly to help those in need.

We have also been considering ways we can help with the recent Earthquake in Nepal.
