Misty hill fort

The day started wet and cloudy with the clouds closing in over the hills.  We were meeting friends I had made in India, for lunch as they live only a few miles away.  We had anticipated good views from their local golf club but visibility was really poor.  On the way back I stopped off at Woodbury Castle where the remains of the iron age hill fort can be seen to one side of the blip.  If it wasn't for getting a blip I would have driven straight past.  So glad I did stop, for the scene was so atmospheric and there was also the beautiful smell of new gorse flowers lingering in the air.
