Open Weekend

The villages of Grappenhall and Thelwall are holding an open weekend. Various clubs and institutions have opened their doors to encourage more people to join in.

We helped to show people around the bell tower at St Wilfrid's church. The ringing chamber, the bell room and the tower roof were all open. Sadly it rained most of the day so the views from the top of the tower were somewhat limited.

Over 50 people came to have a look. All made it safely back to terra firma.
