Bonus day

Always good when the weather beats the forecast. We weren't expecting much today but the colours today were glorious although it was cold.
We started heading north to visit one of the host of local artists - a potter in fact - looking for a birthday present. A stunning gallery with interesting and different work. When was the last time you saw a pottery chain?! Certainly came away happy and I'd be glad to receive the present - hope the intended victims will be too.
Heading back home, we decided it was so nice we would go on to a plant sale right down at the bottom of the islands on Eriskay. Plants purchased and off we went for a stroll on Bonnie Prince Charlies' beach - where he landed on his arrival back in the UK. As you can see the colours were stunning.
Homeward bound then and my turn to start preparing for ten days in China. It will be a shame to leave the islands just as the Summer starts, hopefully, but I know we will enjoy France when we get there in a fortnight.
