I ignored the 'crappy weather' warnings and headed off for a beachy day around the East Neuk with Chef and Susie-Blue.

Had a lovely day wandering around. Lunch at Blackhorn then off to Elie to find that The Ship Inn is in the middle of being refurbished and under new management (thank god and about time, on both counts!!).

Back home now for snuggles with Mr C and to catch up on my shows from the last 3 weeks.

Later I'm making Surf 'n' Turf for supper - yay!! Proper food!!

One of the big discussions from the college centred around the skill in making food taste of nothing at all. It's a skill...one that I have NOT brought home!!
