Stuc in the middle with you.

I ran the Stuc a 'Chroin 5000 Hill Race today (so called because of the climb in feet, although the organisers now claim it's 5,700) for the first time since 2011. I'd forgotten how tough it is, and today's snow on the tops made for a challenging event. I managed to carve off a chunk of time from my last outing but it could have been better - I sniffed out a chink in the race route and took it, but luckily not for too long. The new route is better, but slower (and shorter, so we'll see how the times compare from last year) and more interesting so hopefully they'll keep it. 

I have definitely *earned* my supper at Los Argentinos tonight. The kids had better keep an eye on their plates as I'm ravenous.
