Swaledale

So the destination proved to be my private guess almost. I thought we might go to Reeth in Swaledale in the end we passed through Reeth and ended up in Gunnerside. Brilliant. We used to come to Swaledale when the kids were young and stayed in lovely cottages in the winters. So we have a lovely cottage in the centre of Gunnerside.

But they produced a bigger surprise when we were sitting in the King's Head across from the cottage this afternoon when my great friends, R and J. walked through the door, this was a completely wonderful surprise and now we are sitting down to a home cooked meal by my children. What a lovely evening And weekend. More tomorrow.
