Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

We have had a lovely day cycling along the tow paths to Chirk and then onto Ellesmere. It has rained all day, mostly light but occasionally heavier. We have got so wet and muddy, but that is what happens without proper mudguards. Here is Mr PB and some more if our group crossing the aqueduct.

We came back by the road from Ellesmere to Chirk on a lovely country lane. Then back on the tow path. The canals were much busier than this morning, I think it would be a nightmare in the summer, so many boats on these narrow canals.

We left the others and had dinner in town having exhausted the 2 (not very good) veggie options at the hotel last night. Mr PB is now sitting in the dining room fixing his brakes, hope he manages it, a bit scary otherwise!
