Birthday Girl

D's mum, Margaret is 70 next week so we are here in Scarborough for the weekend to celebrate.
It was a dry, sunny, cold day. We had a look around the town, spent some money in  the arcades and walked along the beach. This afternoon, D, Helen and I had  a walk around the harbour and down to the pier and lighthouse. Tonight we had steak for dinner then birthday cake.
Here is Margaret about to blow out her candles. She has a special tiara for the weekend which she is being made to wear at every mealtime.

We are staying in Princess Street; an appropriate address for today with the arrival of a new princess.
