The warmest spot in the house

Listened to the match on the radio. 12.45pm kick off
Leicester  3  Newcastle United  0

Leicester got their first goal in the first minute of the match.  It was all downhill from then on.

At the end the commentator used these words to describe Newcastle's performance.

" Disgraceful, Insipid, Disrespectful, Gutless, Shocking and Pathetic."

The Head Coach had this to say after the match -  " The team were gutless and spineless.  There was a lack of determination and effort.  The defending was cowardly.  The players just don't have the desire to win ".

I agree with every word.  Newcastle have lost their last 8 matches and are now very near the relegation zone.  A few weeks ago I asked Neil whether he thought Newcastle would get relegated.  He said No - they would be OK. However today when I  texted him he replied " Now I'm worried ". I guess every Newcastle fan is worried.

After the match I went to Blaydon for a bit of shopping.  2 buses there and 2 buses back with not much walking. 

Weather today started off cloudy and cold and got worse.  Heavy rain while I was out. Not a good start to the Bank Hol weekend.

I put the portable heater on this evening and you can see what happened.  The fire is like a magnet for Tino and Lily.  There was a bit of a power struggle as to who would get the best spot but in the end they sorted themselves out and settled down nicely.
