My favourite dead tree.....

.....after sunset. I was so disappointed tonight because the sky was on fire about 5 minutes before I took this shot. I was driving home and had the camera with me but short of getting a speeding ticket, or stopping in the emergency lane, I just couldn't get off the freeway in time to capture it. The cloud structure was quite amazing but did not bring any rain unfortunately. We are having beautiful Autumn weather at the moment but a couple of days of solid rain would be nice!
