Canada & France

Here are Ch and my niece (T) sailing boats in the fountain in the Jardin du Luxembourg. T had the French boat and Ch, the Canadian one. I didn't realize how much exercise the kids got from this activity! There was a nice breeze all day and that meant much running back and forth around the fountain to set the boats off again. We had a wonderful time in the park, walking through Saint-Germain-des-prés and at the Eiffel tower this morning.

Th has been spending the day with her friends. Ch had a end-of-the-year party for her class this evening... they danced (sometimes with boys!) on a rooftop terrace from 5:30-9:00. Ch was completely exhausted when I picked her up but she'd had a great time!
