Another lovely sunrise

I am backblipping this image, My son D is up in Auckland this weekend, so it has been busy times. Nice spending some time with him, haven't seen him for a while since he has been in working Timaru. Got this image as I was heading to the airport to pick him up.
The highlight of the day was using our joint birthday present voucher given to us by my wife D - a flight simulator experience in a Boeing 737-800B. Awesome fun, we got to choose to fly to/from almost any airport in the world. D chose the old Hong Kong airport, renowned for its sharp turn on approach over the city - he did well. I chose Paro in Bhutan, where the approach is visual only, no navigation aids, twisting and turning down alpine valleys, a last minute left turn over a ridge and and drop onto the runway. Nothing like a challenge. I stuffed it up a little, but managed at least to touch the runway (late) before having to do a go-around. Then headed for Kathmandu where it was a little easier. Highly recommended experience.
Finished the day with drinks and a Mexican meal in town, and watching the Crusaders being beaten by the Highlanders (perhaps not such a highlight).
