The foothills of Mont Blanc

Those if you who know this journal know that this young man has such a serious heart condition that a transplant will be necessary soon. So here he is with me on my special birthday fulfilling a dream to walk in the mountains. His consultant thought that he would barely cope, stationary at 1000m, but here we are hill climbing at 1300m. A very special day!
