A good day out.

It's the last game of the season, it's Carlisle V Hartlepool, nothing to play for, both sides safe I believe after a turbulent season for both. But there's pride at stake here, Carlisle want to finish on a win for their fans at the home ground today. Hartlepool want to win for their travelling fans today and they were a plenty. All dressed up as Bob Marley with wigs and hats. Apparently everyone dresses up on the last game of the season and instead of everyone going individually they have a theme today was Bob Marley and with their carnival atmosphere we were reminded throughout the game "Don't worry about a thing, cos every little thing' gonna be alright"

Things were going alright to half time 3-0 up first goal scored on 25 minutes we had 24 and were sure we'd won that competition in Foxes resteraunt where we joined in the hospitality package but it was confirmed as 25 and no prize there. Another goal 2-0 was my prediction for half time in another competition so I was hoping for no more until after half time but it wasn't to be and we went in 3-0 up. A good first half.

In the second half remembering "not to worry about a thing, cos every little things gonna be alright", the Hartlepool fans, all the Bob Marleys
began to sing "we're gonna win 4-3". There's nothing like a bit of self belief but with a final score of 3-3 it wasn't too far away. After another reminder they got a little clever and were singing songs with swear words in like 3-0 and you 'messed" it up! cheeky devils.

So with lunch out, a good afternoon was had, some parts of lunch were not as we'd have hoped but all in all. A good day out.
