Part of the Cinque Terre hike

From the lovely seaside town of Monterosso we hiked up the hill and down again to Vernazza taking two hours!
Quite a climb but spectacular in many ways
These towns are the two northerly points of the Cinque Terre The other three are Corniglia, Manarole and the stunning Riomaggiore where the colourful houses seem precariously perched on top of the mountain! Going by trains from Lucca the trip has taken us 12 hours! Great day!!
