Catalan independence flag

I took a post conference trip to Tossa de Mar today, with a hike along the coastal path followed by exploring the old town (with a typical Catalan lunch in the middle). We walked to the top of the medieval fortifications where these flags were flying. The one at the top is the Catalan Independence flag and the black one at the bottom is the old Catalan flag that was in use until the new design was created.
