Whilst cutting the grass yesterday pops happened upon this beauty of a nest. Expertly woven it contains feathers, deer hair, moss and lichen. The inside is so soft and would have been such a cosy place for chicks if they'd made it. We're not sure if it's an old nest or one from this spring.
After some internet research we decided it was a dunnocks.
