Grim Determination

Inveraray Jail Break Annual Run is a difficult challenge at the best of times but, in spite of the weather, almost 100 runners of all ages, a fair few marshals and one barking mad photographer turned out in high wind and torrential rain.

I have to say I wasn't keen on stepping outside this morning, however it was a great experience and, dare I say, a privilege to photograph the runners coming back in. One runner described it as "character building". It was for me too.

I managed to make a waterproof cover for my camera out of some crap I found in my shed this morning.
