Well it's not very often you get to photograph a Snowy owl in 'the wild' but today was the day. We believe this one escaped from the Black Isle wildlife Park a few days ago and it has been enjoying it's freedom. It looked quite happy sitting on the fence watching the two hares that were running about in the field next too it. Unfortunately I could nt get a good photo as it was some distance away and the lighting was very poor but at least I have a reminder of seeing it. We saw it fly from post to post and almost turn it's head 360 degrees.
We waited in for most of the day as we were waiting for some people to arrive from Perth to pick up Richards old bike. Really pleased that it has now gone , he's much happier driving his car and I'm happier now we've got some more space :)
