Snail

We have loads of snails in the garden.  Makes me think we have no hedgehogs about yet and I know we have no thrushes. I began to wonder if the snails stuck to the walls were actually alive, but on tonights  wander round the freezing cold  garden I spotted this fella crawling over the Laurel bush.  It has not been a very nice day weather wise today so don't know why this snail woke up this evening. Good job it did as all the flowers had closed up for the night, I intended taking a picture of the cowslips in our paddock.
