Glimpse of sun

The day started with heavy rain and wind, and cold (4.5C) at 11am. It was still pouring when we left Dundee after church and lunch but gradually cleared as we headed west and south - and as we crossed into England the sun came out (briefly).
We are now in a cottage near Kirby Lonsdale and glad we aren't camping. It isn't raining and after a meal we went for a short walk and the sun even came out to light up the scar.
The forecast for the week isn't brilliant but we do have waterproofs!
