Er... Hello!

Cat comes round one side, hen round the other :0)

This was during the only short break in the rain today, and well before the hens all got freaked out by some irresponsible person's border terrier, running free with no owners in sight, which squeezed through the closed gate and went for them.
It had Amber by the throat already when I chased it off, and it took me hours to find her - totally spooked, shivering behind the shed. I think she'll be ok eventually. Which is more than can be said for my neighbour's three hens, all of which got killed today, presumably by the same dog :0((

Some people are just not fit to own dogs.
