All kinds of weather

A very wet first walk of the day today so I was well and truly waterproofed up. Bailey on the other hand doesn't believe in dressing for the weather. Nor was he too fazed by it when he wanted to have a potter in the garden whilst I got some marking done. Not as much work done as I might have liked today because the usual Sunday routine was interrupted by a visit to the car showroom to order a new car. It was all incredibly painless and I think I got a good deal all told - including the obligatory free car mats to seal the deal.

By the time I got home it was distinctly warmer and less damp and having walked Bailey and had our lunch, we were sat outside in the garden. That was until the dark skies rolled in and the thunder and torrential rain and eventually the lightning. It was fairly short lived so by the time of our third walk all was fine and warm again. And it looks like it might still be like that tomorrow and on a Bank Holiday too. There will be a bit of work to be done but not enough to spoil a bonus day.
