Barn Quilts

Took pictures for work at the final presentations of an art class that created a series of barn quilts, or paintings to be featured outdoors, reminiscent of fabric quilts.

I was impressed with the degree of comfort these freshmen had with the medium, and the sophistication of their solutions. Their prof (the one in the baseball hat) is a good friend of mine, and I know him as a deep thinker, passionate both about the subject and teaching it. No wonder they ended up with such great projects.
