Austin Seven

On display today and owned by a local businessman this is a fine example of a very well restored Austin Seven.

My name is Ruby and I was delivered by Macrae & Dick Ltd to my first owner, The local district nurse, Foyers on the 10th of September 1934

Other owners include Ian Clark who looked after me for 27 years.

I have been a Police patrol car in Loch Carron. By 1970 I was in daily use by a crofter in Glenelg.

I was purchased by my present owner, Jan Nicolson, in 1973 for the sum of £40. Since then I have been rebuilt from the chassis up.
