Friendly pre-battle sparring in the Rus camp.

On bank holidays the roads around Corfe Castle are choked with ox-carts and longboats.  Yes, the Saxons and the Vikings are once more here to join battle.

I only dared venture into the Rus camp.  These are the Vikings who ventured inland south-eastwards from the Baltic - and were in time to give their name to Russia and Belarus.

The two Rus featuring here are husband and wife.  They are limbering up for action, as battle will be joined in a few hours.
