SCROBY SANDS WINDFARM, GREAT YARMOUTH

Suitcases on the coach by 7.30am, then breakfast, then off home - leaving at 9.15am.

Popped down to the sea front to take this shot before we left. This is Scroby Sands Offshore Windfarm which was one of the first offshore windfarms. It has 30 turbines. It is run by Eon and there is a visitor centre on the promenade.

Long journey home due to heavy traffic, roadworks and an accident which caused delays. Finally got to Gateshead at around 6pm.

So all in all a good holiday and a nice change of scene. Good group of people on the coach and " canny " driver.
