Sun, Sun, Sun, here it comes!

After yesterday's persistent rain it was lovely to walk in the warmth of the sun again today.  Town with Diane was as busy as any weekend.  I guess we forgot it was a Bank Holiday.

There is a Birthday this week.  It has crept up on me as I have tried hard to push it to the back of my mind.  My Boy, my Baby is turning 18 on Thursday!  I blinked, that's all, I just blinked!  It will be emotional for me, I know I am holding it back already.

A beer cake is what's needed.  I see Nigella does one,  I think I have forgotten how to bake though,  I haven't had the time or desire to bake lately.  It's done wonders for my waistline.
