Messing about on the river.

Not us. We were just watching the comings and goings along the River Ouse at Naburn Locks.
A warm day walking along the river bank. 
So peaceful, except for the bird song, and the occasional put, put of the boats.
What a beautiful day.
With a big bonus. We collected our first asparagus from the little grower near Cawood. ( Keep thinking each year will be the last, as he is well past retirement age.)
Now off to gook it! 
Can't wait. The first is always the best, and straight from the field!
