Goldfinch

Grey and overcast this morning, so uploaded minutes for the Community Council to the Scourie web-site.

Tanni was "playing" outside while I was doing it, and cam back in smelling like.. well.. let's just say a trip to the Dog washing machine was needed. She still smells a bit, so will get another rinse tomorrow!

Did a harvest for the hotel, probably the last of the spring greens and purples, some salad, and the rhubarb that had broken off in yesterdays wind.

G was skyping her mum, and her brother and sister-in-law were there as well. The conversation turned political, and as I don't agree with their politics, I went outside and sat waiting for the birds to come onto the bird feeders. The two cats also wanted to wait for them too, so I didn't see much. Did get this goldfinch doing a display on the fence. First a look to his left, a quick hop and look to the right, back to the left and crouch down, then the right, then turn around with his back to me, and chirping away all the time..
