A marathon day that began at 2 a.m.

All for a good cause though

I stepped completely out of my comfort zone to join 40 other women (all photographers) in Palm Springs for a weekend retreat

As exhausted as I was, the day was fabulous. 
Meeting at a retro hip hotel and greeted with sunshine and smiles
Meeting new friends for the first, but definitely not last time 
A photo shoot with numerous families in the chilly afternoon air at Joshua Tree park
Dinner at a quirky pizza place that left us all in hysterics
Off to bed and ready to rise at o dark thirty
