Sultans of Spring

I bought these tulips in Amsterdam on a visit a couple of years ago, a few months after my Dad passed away. As soon as I saw they were called 'Sultans of Spring' I knew I had to buy them (Dire Straits were one of his favourites). I didn't pay much attention to the type of flower when I bought them, but they have been incredible every year- the bulbs are huge, and have multiplied each year.
I had the day off today as I'm working on Sunday, and spent a lovely day hanging out with Mum.
