Clocking off

After the last few very busy days and late nights I felt quite wiped out today. I went for a stroll round the village to see what I could find: precious few insects, but a variety of plants.

In the end, today's blip was a choice between some rather pretty bluebells and this backlit dandelion clock. As it doesn't seem to have fully opened, the seeds are packed very tightly together, making it look like a powder puff.
