First views...

We flew from City airport to Venice today for the start of our little Italian jaunt. We took a private speedboat from the airport to the hotel and it was great to feel the wind on our faces as we got our first views of the golden roofs of the city. After checking in we went for a walk to take in the early evening sunshine and have dinner. The city is beautiful and the relaxation is already seeping  into my bones.
