Bedecked with ribbon....

...which I am reluctant to remove!

The perfect birthday gift for my evolving patio garden, and received from friends over our breakfast together on Saturday.

I now have three privet shrubs all requiring different hair cuts and I shall have to get nimble with my shears!

What a wonderful gift today has been! I drove through the beautiful Surrey Hills to look at our friends' home there and check all was OK. I drove past amazing bluebell woods and a very busy Bank Holiday family fun day but was unable to stop to take any pictures....very annoying! 

Now packing my bag ready for tomorrow....
