Soggy Doggie

Today I met with with my friend Jane and her little Westie, Snowy. Nothing ever goes to plan when we get together.

This time we decided to walk from Alfriston to Litlington and beyond along the bank of the river. Well, we must have had a very high tide recently which had overflowed the bank making it very wet and muddy - like a magnet for Harley.

When we stopped on the way back at Litlington Tea Gardens for a scone and cuppa, we could smell how bad Harley was.

Thankfully Pete was home when we returned and he volunteered to bath him for me. There was one consolation - Snowy was just as bad.....
