Heron

Visited Edinburgh this morning and spent the day there till we had to pick up son number one from the train station; he's paying us a flying visit to cast his vote and then returns to uni. We visited the Modern Art Gallery and went for a very pleasant stroll to Stockbridge following the 'Water of Leith'. Along the way, we passed this heron and I was lucky enough to take a number of shots observing it wading across the river to grab some lunch.
